The body of an unidentified tourist was recovered from the Zambezi River near Victoria Falls on Wednesday morning. Authorities suspect the individual may have fallen from the Zambian side of the waterfall.
The recovery operation was carried out with the assistance of Zimbabwean river and tour operators, coordinated by Zambia’s Department of National Parks and Wildlife. Two hotels, one in Zimbabwe and another in Zambia, have reported missing guests, but the identity and nationality of the deceased have not been confirmed.
